What is Jalupro?
An injectable preparation made of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid + amino acids + peptides
By blending high concentrations of both low- and high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, the low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid boosts immediate action and hydration, while the high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid enhances the scaffold for the moisturizing effect and its long-term retention. In this way, by strengthening the ligaments, density is increased and the skin's elasticity is restored.
Through the action of amino acids, it activates fibroblasts and promotes the production of collagen and elastin, remodeling the skin to improve natural firmness and fine lines. In particular, Jalupro contains a high concentration—50%—of "glycine," which supports collagen production.
Peptides contain growth factors and moisturizing factors. Through their "growth factors," they actively generate new skin cells, which may help improve or prevent wrinkles and support wound healing.
An ECM preparation—a type of injectable known as a collagen booster
ECM preparations are drugs that act on the ECM (Extracellular Matrix) to improve the condition of the skin. In addition to Jalupro, ECM preparations include Profhilo and Sunekos. Even among ECM preparations, the ingredients differ, so the effects you can expect differ as well.
Milan Injection
It is also called the "Milan Injection" because its manufacturing plant is located in Milan, Italy.
It is a hyaluronic acid–based collagen booster developed by the Swiss biotechnology company "Professional Derma." Three types of Jalupro are currently available.
Three types of Jalupro
- Classic
- HMW
- Superhydro
1. Classic

- Ingredients:
Low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid + 4 amino acids - Injection site:
Fine lines at the corners of the eyes, dark circles under the eyes, around the eyes, forehead, neck - Expected effects:
Dark circles around the eyes, wrinkles at the corners of the eyes, improvement of acne scars, improvement of pigmentation, strong antioxidant action, fine wrinkles, wrinkle prevention, skin maintenance, improvement of scars after surgery - Recommended number of sessions:
4 sessions in total, spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart. After that, once every 6 to 9 months.
②HMV (High Molecular Volume)

- Ingredients:
High-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid + 4 amino acids. HMV (High Molecular Volume) means high molecular weight. - Expected effects:
Deeply etched wrinkles. Natural aging care, especially for those with thin skin or little subcutaneous fat. High-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid can hold more water, moisturizing the skin and providing long-lasting hydration. It is often used to form a film on the skin's surface to protect it from dryness. - Injection site:
Mid-face to lower face. As a guide, injecting 9 spots on one side—18 spots on both sides combined—allows it to penetrate over several hours to a day, taking effect across the entire area from the eyes downward.
Superhydro

- Overview:
An injectable preparation designed to regenerate the retinacula cutis (RC)—that is, the ligaments. For this reason, it is also"a tightening injection."as it is also called. Ligaments, like the branches of a tree, spread in all directions through the layers of subcutaneous tissue and support the skin. - Ingredients:
It contains "7 amino acids," "3 peptides," and "80mg/2.5ml of low-/high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid." Hyaluronic acid of different sizes—from low to medium to high molecular weight—is combined. Low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid penetrates easily into the deeper layers of the skin, while high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid is effective at retaining moisture on the surface. This combination of hyaluronic acids is designed to provide a multifaceted moisturizing and therapeutic effect on the skin.- [7 amino acids] Glycine, proline, lysine, leucine, alanine, valine, arginine
- [3 peptides] Acetyl decapeptide-3, oligopeptide-24, acetyl tetrapeptide
- [Hyaluronic acid of two molecular weights] Low molecular weight: 200kDa, high molecular weight: 2000kDa
- Expected effects:
Strengthening the ligaments, lifting, remodeling the subcutaneous tissue, moisturizing, and tightening the skin—especially in the midface. - Injection site:
Predetermined. One side of the face: 6 to 7 spots, one side of the neck: 6 spots - Recommended number of sessions:
It is best to do a set of 2 sessions within one month. Once the skin is in good condition, we recommend a treatment about once every 6 months for maintenance. - Other:
Launched in 2021

Expected Effects and Benefits
[Expected effects]
Within the skin, Jaluproremodeling of the extracellular matrix (ECM)By encouraging this, a variety of effects may be achieved.
Remodeling of the extracellular matrix refers to the action of reactivating the collagen and elastin in aged skin.
Young skin has many fibroblasts, and as these fibroblasts work actively, collagen and elastin are metabolized smoothly, keeping the skin healthy, firm, and elastic. In aging skin, on the other hand, fibroblasts decrease and collagen and elastin decline, leading to wrinkles and sagging.
By replenishing fibroblasts with amino acids, Jalupro stimulates fibroblast activity, boosts the production of collagen and elastin, and promotes remodeling of the extracellular matrix (ECM).
After injection, the effect of the hyaluronic acid appears within a few days, while the effect of the amino acids appears gradually over 6 months, starting about 1 month later.
[Expected benefits]
・Improved skin hydration:
Jalupro enhances the skin's ability to retain moisture, leaving it hydrated and plump.
・Reduced fine lines:
By promoting collagen production and refining skin texture, it makes wrinkles and fine lines less noticeable.
・Improved skin tone and texture:
It improves overall skin texture and evens out skin tone, making the skin look smoother and brighter.
・Minimal downtime:
Non-invasive Jalupro treatment involves little to no downtime, so you can resume daily life right away.
・Versatility:
Jalupro can be used not only on the face but also on various parts of the body, making it well suited to addressing concerns in multiple areas.
・A natural impression:
It provides a natural appearance without looking artificial.
Risks of Jalupro
Because Jalupro contains no cross-linking agent, the likelihood of causing allergic reactions or embolismsis low.
The reason for this is that Jalupro does not contain a "cross-linking agent."
Cross-linking agents may cause allergic reactions, immune reactions, and inflammation. Although very infrequent, allergic reactions have been reported. Conventional hyaluronic acid injectables contain a substance called a cross-linking agent.
It is the creation of new chemical bonds that bridge chain-like strands of hyaluronic acid together. As a result of cross-linking, hyaluronic acid takes on a three-dimensional structure. This three-dimensional structure slows the absorption and breakdown of hyaluronic acid at the injection site, giving it a longer-lasting effect.
