What is "Suiko-injection x [Rejuran formulation]"?

Rejuran Hydrophoton Injection is a skin texture improvement treatment that directly injects a drug called Rejuran into the dermal layer using a special injector.

The synergistic effect of "the cosmetic effect of Rejuran to activate skin cells" and "the wound-healing action of Suikoh Injection" can be expected.

What is Aquatic Light Injection?

Hydroxyapatite injections are a treatment in which the drug is injected like a stamp with nine ultrafine needles per shot.

When the needle is set, suction pressure causes the ultrafine needle to penetrate the skin, and the drug is injected evenly at the pre-set depth. When the needle leaves the skin, the injection is complete. By creating a wound with the needle, the procedure utilizes the "wound healing" function that is inherent to human nature, and is expected to increase collagen production.

What is Rejuran?

Rejuran is a formulation containing polydeoxynucleotides (PDRN), which are extracted from salmon DNA, as the active ingredient, and has the effect of enhancing the skin's self-regenerating ability.

Polydeoxynucleotides (PDRN) have various effects, such as increasing growth factor production, promoting capillary circulation, anti-inflammatory effects, and DNA resynthesis. It also contains "astaxanthin," an ingredient with excellent antioxidant properties. In addition, there are several types of Rejuran, such as "for the eye area only" and "with anesthesia.

Various studies have reported on the effectiveness of Rejuran, including the following paper.

Rejuran injection showed the highest elasticity and collagen composition for wrinkles in the corner of the eyes compared to phosphate buffered saline and Ivoire® (hyaluronic acid formulation) injection, with significant differences in texture and wrinkle depth.

Journal of Korean medical science. 2014 Nov;29 Suppl 3(Suppl 3);S201-9. doi: 10.3346/jkms.2014.29.S3.S201.

Polynucleotide (PN) filler injection on one side of the periorbital area and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) filler injection on the opposite side were compared. The rate of improvement in skin elasticity and hydration decreased over time in both groups, with a higher rate of improvement in the PN group, and a higher rate of improvement in rough skin and pore volume in the PN group than in the HA group.

Differences in Rejuran treatment methods

There are several treatment methods for Rejuran, including "water light injections", "manual injection by a doctor" and "dermapen". The advantages and disadvantages of each are compared.

AdvantagesDemerit
Manual Striking by PhysiciansDeliver the required amount of drug to the required depth.
Almost no leakage of chemicals
The result depends on the skill of the doctor.
High price
dermapenThe dermapen itself is highly effective in the form of a microscopic needle puncture.
Suitable for skin resurfacing due to the application of chemicals
Difficult for drugs to penetrate into the skin
Vital InjectorUniformly injects drugs to the desired depth
Cheaper than a doctor's manual
The drug may not be injected 100% into the skin and a small amount may leak (not necessarily 30% leakage, but several % to 10%).

Manual injection by a physician has the advantage of delivering the drug only where it is needed, but the finished product is dependent on the skill of the physician.

Dermapen, like hydrophoton injections, uses multiple ultrafine needles that are inserted like a stamp. Because the drug is applied over the needle holes, it is suitable for treatment of skin surfaces such as acne and pores, but its disadvantage is that it is difficult for the drug to penetrate into the skin.

Because nine stitches per shot can be injected together, the speed and pressure of the water light injections are constant. It has the advantage of being able to inject the drug evenly to the desired depth, which is difficult to achieve with other treatment methods. However, if you want to change the injection amount for different areas, you need to make detailed adjustments on a case-by-case basis.

Effects of Hydrophoton Injection x Rejuran

Rejuran hydrophoton injections are expected to work on fibroblasts to promote angiogenesis and have an anti-inflammatory effect.

As a result, you will notice an improvement in skin luster, makeup application, fine lines and wrinkles, pores, and sagging skin.

For people whorecommendation

  • Those with fish allergies

Differences between Rejuran and other formulations

Various formulations are used for water light injections, but what makes Rejuran different from other formulations?

Hyaluronic acid is a typical agent used in aquatic light injections. When volume is created by injected ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, the volume will return to normal as the ingredients are absorbed by the body.

On the other hand, Rejelan does not physically increase volume, but rather regenerates the skin and increases collagen by itself, making it difficult for the skin to return to its original state.

When the effect of Rejuran Aqueous Light Injection appears, duration, and frequency of injection.

The effects of Rejuran are visible after 2 to 4 weeks, and while a single session is effective, the effects are more noticeable with repeated sessions.

After 3 to 4 treatments spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart, the effect can be expected to last for a year or more. After that, maintenance every 6 months to 1 year is recommended.

Pain from Rejuran hydrophoton injections

Rejuran hydrophoton injections are only painful to the point of tingling.

By injecting while suctioning, pain is reduced compared to manual injection. Since the needle is ultrafine and 9 needles can be injected at once, the amount of injections per injection is large, and since repeated injections are unnecessary, pain is also reduced. However, the pain felt varies from person to person.

Pain can be reduced by cooling the affected area beforehand and using a surface anesthetic. For those who are anxious about needles and pain, it is recommended to confirm the availability of laughing anesthesia, which has an anxiety-relieving effect.

Downtime, Side Effects, and Risks of Rejuran Hydrophoton Injection

Downtime, side effects, and risks of Rejuran Hydrophoton Injection are presented.

Rejuran Aqueous Light Injection Downtime Duration and Symptoms

Downtime period is approximately 2-3 days.

Because the needle is inserted into the skin, there will be redness at the injection site and bumpy bumps on the skin, which will gradually recede and return to normal in about 24 hours.

Due to the nature of the treatment, subcutaneous bleeding may occur at the needle puncture site, although not always. If subcutaneous bleeding spots occur, they will gradually disappear over a period of 10-14 days.

For more information about the downtime of hydroxyapatite injections, please also see here.

Rejuran What is the pain after aqueous injections? How to relieve it?
