What is Juvelook?
JUVELUX is a non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid andPDLLA (Poly-DL-lactic acid)This is a type of injectable drug called a skin booster, which is a combination of
After injection, it is slowly absorbed into the body over a period of one to two years, during which time it stimulates fibroblasts to naturally increase collagen and elastin, and a lasting effect can be expected.
Since it is made from lactic acid, which is also present in the human body, it is a formulation that is unlikely to cause allergies.
JUVELOOK is written in English.
This is a coined term that combines JUVE (youth, vitality, vigor) and LOOK (appearance, expression).
It is also the equivalent of Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)and ..,Approved by the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA)Preparation.

Originating in Korea, certified by the KFDA in Korea.skin booster
Jubeluk has won the award in the Korean consumer skin booster category for two consecutive years (2022,2023).

Four characteristics of Jubeluk
(1) Longer duration of effect
Polylactic acid (PDLLA) continuously stimulates fibroblasts inside the skin. This stimulates collagen production. After injection, it is slowly broken down into water and carbon dioxide inside the skin over a period of one to two years. Therefore, unlike conventional hyaluronic acid formulations, JUVELUX is a formulation that provides skin growth over a long period of time.
Below is the official Jubeluk YouTube, which explains how Jubeluk works. (*It is in English.)
(2) Relatively few side effects
Jubelq uses a drug called polylactic acid (PDLLA). Polylactic acid preparations in the same category as JUVELQ include Sculptra and MacComb.
Sculptra had sharply shaped particles that were highly irritating to surrounding cells and carried the risk of causing subcutaneous lumps.
McComb is an induction agent for potentia. The risk of subcutaneous lumps that were likely to occur with Sculptra has been greatly reduced. On the other hand, it is not approved by the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) and cannot be injected directly into the skin.
Unlike Sculptra and MacComb, Jubelq is made so that the particles are round in shape. Therefore, the risk of creating subcutaneous lumps is small. Furthermore, it has been approved by the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) and the U.S. FDA.
(iii) Customized treatment is possible with local injections
JUVELUX can be injected as a whole as well as locally. Therefore, it is possible to address not only the entire face, but also localized concerns. For example, the following localized areas can be addressed
- Acne scars and scar indentations
- Fine lines and sagging under the eyes
- Nose Pores
(4) Abundant medical data
Jubeluk is used abundantly in Korea, and there are many research papers on its effectiveness.
As an example, the following paper mentions the efficacy of PDLA (≈Jubelq) for acne scars.
Intradermal injection of PDLA may be used as an effective treatment with fewer side effects in patients with acne scars of Fitzpatrick skin types III-IV.

*JUVELUX allows for sustained collagen production, and the effects are often long-lasting. - How is it different from hyaluronic acid treatment?
- Dr. Smaski.
Hyaluronic acid therapy involves injecting cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which is a hard hyaluronic acid. This improves wrinkles by physically increasing volume. JUVELUX, on the other hand, increases collagen, which is produced by the body itself, thereby increasing natural volume.
