Safety of Profhilo
Profhilo has a high safety profile because it contains no chemical substances or biologics, including cross-linking agents.
Specifically, this means that it is less likely to cause allergic reactions.
The reason is that Profhilo does not contain "cross-linking agents." Cross-linking agents may cause allergic reactions, immune responses, and inflammation.

Risks and Side Effects

Downtime
Redness and bumps may occur at the injection site, but in most cases they resolve within about 24 hours.
Due to the nature of the treatment, subcutaneous bleeding (bruising) may occur at the needle puncture site, although this does not always happen. If bruising does appear, it will gradually fade over the course of 10 to 14 days.

Although you can see effects even after a single treatment, we recommend one of the following approaches for optimal results:
1. Have the first and second treatments one month apart, then repeat the same pattern each year.
2. Have the first and second treatments one month apart, then continue with treatments every 6 months.
*The skin-remodeling effect of Profhilo increases the extracellular matrix, leading to skin rejuvenation. If maintenance treatments are not performed, the extracellular matrix will gradually decline with aging after the treatment effect reaches its peak. For this reason, we recommend the approaches above. - Will I feel any pain?

While individual experiences may vary, we use a fine needle, though you may feel a slight pricking sensation. The central part of the face is also said to be more sensitive to pain.
