For sagging,
Three Approaches.
The causes of sagging vary from person to person. Our clinic offers three different treatment approaches.
Concerns About Sagging
That "sagging"—
where is it bothering you?
Even under the single word "sagging," the areas of concern differ from person to person. At our clinic, we begin by carefully identifying exactly where your concerns are showing.
The areas of concern differ for each person.
But what is happening beneath the surface is the same for everyone.
The Structure of Sagging
The true cause of sagging
is not just one thing.
The face is made up of five stacked layers: skin, subcutaneous fat, the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system), supporting ligaments, and bone. Even changes described simply as "sagging" differ from person to person in terms of which layer is affected and what is happening there.
skin
The outermost layer, which produces firmness and elasticity.
As collagen and elastin decrease and elasticity declines, the skin as a whole begins to loosen.
Subcutaneous fat
The layer that creates facial fullness and soft contours.
"Ptosis," which occurs when the fat loses its support and drops, and "atrophy," in which the fat itself thins. These are two different changes. Ptosis appears as a loose, sagging jawline, while atrophy appears as sunken or hollow cheeks.
SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system)
A membrane beneath the skin and fat that supports the entire face as a single "surface."
When this membrane loosens and its ability to support the face as a surface weakens, the entire face drops and the contours slacken.
Supporting ligaments
Ligaments that connect bone to skin, anchoring the facial tissues at specific "points."
The face has ligaments too. When the ligaments stretch and loosen, the tissues they held in place drop along with the underlying structure, leading to sagging that stands out as "lines," such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
Bone
The foundation that carries all the layers.
The facial bones also thin with age, reducing the surface area available for support. Support around the eyes, cheeks, and jawline decreases.
In reality, it is not uncommon for several layers to be involved at the same time.
That is exactly why our clinic offersSkin Rejuvenation Injections, Devices, and Thread Lifts.
We offer three different approaches.

The Smart Skin Philosophy
Leave out what is unnecessary,
and get to the essence of treatment.
Anything unrelated to the quality of care—lavish interiors, excessive advertising—we thoroughly leave out. What we save is put toward the essence of treatment: the formulations, the equipment, and our physicians' skill. Our sagging treatments, too, are built on this "Smart Essential" philosophy.

Our clinic makes a "promise to our patients" that we do not engage in sales tactics. Please feel free to consult with us while you are still at the stage of simply wondering.
