JALUPRO (JALUPRO)
With the introduction of Jalpro Hydro Injection, a discount campaign for "Super Hydro" is now underway.
What is JALUPRO?
This is an injectable formulation used in skin growth therapy and is expected to "rejuvenate the skin from the inside out" and "restore the skin's own firmness and elasticity.
Jalpro is an injectable formulation that consists mainly of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and amino acids, and is available in three formulations with different compositions, Jalpro Classic, Jalpro HMW, and Jalpro Super Hydro, depending on the molecular size of the main ingredient, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
Three types of JALPRO|Classic, HMW, and Super Hydro
JalPro's "Classic," "HMW," and "Super Hydro" formulations have different expected effects, and each formulation is used depending on the problem.
- Jalpro Classic|Improvement of fine lines and dark circles around the eyes and overall skin hydration
- Jalpro HMW|Fulling out wrinkles and lines on the neck and cheeks with a lumpy appearance.
- Jalpro Super Hydro (also known as "Tightening Injection")|For skin rejuvenation, improvement of sagging and tightening
The three formulations are briefly summarized in the table.
Classic | HMW | Superhydro | |

Detailed characteristics of each of the three types are described in the following articles.
The table shows the ingredients of each formulation and the kinds of problems it is good for people with, but for those who do not know what the main ingredient, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, is, we would like to briefly explain non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
What is non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid?
Non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid is hyaluronic acid that is not cross-linked.
Cross-linking" means that hyaluronic acids are bound together so that they do not separate from each other, so non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid is hyaluronic acid that spreads freely in the body.
When non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin, it diffuses and permeates widely, so hyaluronic acid spreads to every corner of the skin. Hyaluronic acid has "a strong moisturizing effect that attracts and retains moisture" and "activates surrounding cells," so the hyaluronic acid that is injected into the skin increases the skin's moisture content and activates cells (fibroblasts), resulting in increased firmness and elasticity.
Incidentally, ECM remodeling treatment is to promote skin firmness and elasticity increase by activating fibroblasts, which are cells that produce each cell of skin tissue.
Effectiveness of JALPRO
The effect of JalPro used in skin growth therapy is manifested by the synergistic effects of ECM remodeling treatment with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and the skin repair and regeneration effects of the amino acids that are formulated together.
The formulation of Jalpro varies depending on the molecular weight of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. The following is a brief description of the characteristics of different molecular weights of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
[Low molecular weight non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid
Its small molecular weight allows it to diffuse widely and deeply through the gaps between cells. The effect of hyaluronic acid can be delivered to every corner of the skin, so the entire skin is moisturized!
Non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid with high molecular weight
Its large molecular weight makes it difficult to diffuse, break down, and stay in the injected area. In addition, hyaluronic acid itself swells into a gel-like state by binding with the water attracted to it, leading to increased volume in the injected area.
Characteristics of Jalpro|Skin repair and regeneration effects of amino acids
Jalpro's amino acids include glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, and L-lysine, which are essential for cell generation and regeneration and for repairing damaged skin. Glycine is a particularly important amino acid when considered in terms of collagen production.
In other words, JalPro can be expected to have a synergistic effect of skin rejuvenation because it can inject amino acids essential for cell generation and repair into the interior of the skin at the same time that fibroblasts are activated by non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
When will the effects begin to be felt?
Although there are three types of Jalpro, they tend to share a common trend with respect to the timing of their effects.
However, since the appearance of effects varies from person to person, please understand the following period as a rough guide.
The effects of JalPro begin to appear within a few days after the injection. These effects include "firmness and luster" and "somewhat better skin tone.
It is said that it takes about one month after the injection to notice obvious results, such as "wrinkles becoming less noticeable" and "sagging skin improving.
Although the effects can be felt even after a single treatment, it is necessary to have regular treatments in order to maintain the effects.
Duration of effect
The duration of the effect depends on the skin's reaction, the amount injected, the patient's lifestyle and usual skin care, and therefore varies from person to person.
The following are reference durations for each formulation.
Jal Pro Classic|About 6 to 9 months
Jalpro HMW|About 6 to 12 months
JALPRO SUPER HYDRO|About 6 months
Skin growth injectable formulations that are often compared
The same skin growth injection formulations that are often compared to Jalpro are Profilo and Snecos.
What is the difference between JalPro and Profilo?
PROFILO is an injectable formulation containing a high concentration of two types of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, high molecular weight and low molecular weight, similar to JalPro Super Hydro.
The difference between the two formulations is the presence or absence of ingredients other than non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, with Profibro consisting solely of pure hyaluronic acid.
Both formulations have in common the ability to work on the dermal layer and remodel skin tissue through the ECM remodeling effect. However, the two formulations differ in their approach to achieve skin growth in the first place.
Since Profibro is designed to approach the subcutaneous tissue and JalPro Super Hydro is designed to approach the ligament, there is a difference in the expected effect.
[Profilo].
It also acts on the subcutaneous tissue further below the dermis layer, aiming to increase volume from the subcutaneous tissue. It is effective in increasing the natural skin volume of the subcutaneous tissue of the face and neck.
[Jal Pro Super Hydro].
It also aims to regenerate fibrous tissue called ligaments. Ligaments are fibers that connect bone and skin, and they break or stretch with age, causing the skin to sag. The ligaments are regenerated and the drooping skin is pulled up, which is expected to be effective for skin tightening (care of sagging skin) in the midface.
What is the difference between Jal Pro and Snechos?
There are two types of Snecos, Snecos 200 and Snecos 1200, but Snecos 200 is often compared to JalPro Classic.
In conclusion, it is best to understand that the two are similar formulations.
SUNECOS 200 is a formulation containing low molecular weight non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and six amino acids (glycine, L-proline, L-lysine, L-alanine, L-valine, and L-leucine) in a patented ratio.
Both formulations have similar ingredients and share many of the same claimed benefits, such as "improved firmness and elasticity and reduction of fine wrinkles.
There is no clear data that either is better than the other. There are individual differences regarding effectiveness, so choose the one that suits you best.

Downtime and Risks of JalPro
Downtime for JALPRO
Downtime Symptoms
Pain or tenderness at the injection site
Redness, swelling, and itching at the injection site
Intravascular hemorrhage
Internal bleeding is what is called a bruise. The medical mechanism is that blood vessels in the skin break and blood flows out and then clots in the skin.
Whether or not internal bleeding occurs depends on the skill of the physician and the physical characteristics of the person undergoing the procedure, so it is expected to occur with a probability of a few percent. (It is difficult to control the fact that 100% internal bleeding does not occur solely on the basis of technical skill.)
Most downtime symptoms disappear within a day or two (basically within 48 hours)
If internal bleeding occurs, it will gradually fade over a week or two.
I wonder if it will interfere with my work after this treatment..."
I wonder how many days I will need to hide after this procedure..."
I wonder how much it will affect my life..."
Do you have these concerns or questions about downtime?
Our cosmetic dermatologists will explain these questions so that they can be answered without having to ask them directly from the doctor at the clinic.
As a conclusion, I can tell you that the post-injection bumps will settle down about 3 hours after the procedure.
Depending on the site, internal bleeding may occur and needle marks may be noticeable, but in most cases they can be adequately concealed with concealer or other means.
Makeup cannot be applied after the procedure, so if you are really concerned about it, you will need to have it covered with a mask or hat, but makeup can be applied the next day.
Areas prone to internal bleeding are the eye area and temples, and areas where needle marks are more visible are the cheeks. However, since the procedure is originally performed with an ultrafine needle, internal bleeding does not necessarily spread over a large area.
In most cases, it can be concealed with makeup, but if you are concerned, you may find it reassuring to schedule your appointment for the day after the procedure.
Risks of JALPRO
Non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, such as Jalpro, is generally considered safe.
The reason,
- No cross-linking agents are used ... avoiding allergic reactions, immune reactions, and inflammation caused by cross-linking agents.
- Similar properties to hyaluronic acid present in the body ... Low risk of thromboembolism
The three JalPro formulations are also highly safe, as they are certified as Class 3 medical devices under the CE Mark. They have been marketed and performed in many countries. (CE Mark is an indicator for evaluating the safety of medical devices in the EU, and Class 3 is the highest level.)
Demerit
There are no major disadvantages to note for JalPro. The minor disadvantages are listed below.
- Effects are not permanent, so repeated treatments are necessary to continue to obtain results.
- There is no immediate effect before the effect can be felt (on the contrary, the result will be natural slowly).
- Effects vary from person to person.
- Temporary redness and swelling may occur after injection. These usually resolve in a few days, but may affect the immediate appearance of the procedure
- Some formulations are more expensive than others.
Treatment area/method
- Classic ・・・・・ extensive injections into areas of concern
- HMW ・・・・・・・・ injected along areas of concern such as wrinkles and lines
- Super hydro - recommended injection point
Recommended number/frequency of treatments|Schedule of treatments

Laser-based or surgical procedures (Hyf, thread lift) for those who are concerned about sagging.
Laser-based and surgical procedures are effective in improving sagging skin. The JalPro Super Hydro is a different approach to skin tightening and lifting.
Even in surgical procedures, there are individual differences in effectiveness. In addition, in order to maintain the effect of sagging improvement, even this procedure needs to be continued.
HIFU is not available at our clinic.
Frequently Asked Questions about JALPRO
Q: How long is the treatment?
A:Excluding counseling, the procedure takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
Q: Can it be done under the eyes?
A:JalPro Classic can be injected around the eyes, while HMW and Super Hydro are injected according to the recommended injection points. Even if it is not possible to inject directly under the eye, the drug is said to diffuse and penetrate so that the effect can be felt.
Q: Can I wear makeup after the procedure?
A:Makeup can be applied immediately after the treatment.
Q: How long does it take for the bumpiness (bulging) at the injection site to disappear?
A:After the Classique procedure, an uneven bulge will appear in the treated area. If the area to be treated is large, the bumps may be noticeable immediately after the injection, but they will penetrate deeper and become less noticeable within a few hours.
The rate of penetration varies from person to person depending on their constitution and metabolism, but if the treatment is performed in the morning, the bulge is often not noticeable in the evening, and is said to be absorbed within 24 hours.
Q: How often do I have to have JalPro injections, maintenance after the second injection?
A:The interval between treatments differs between Classic HMW and Super Hydro.
Classic/HMW
After the second treatment, a total of 4 treatments every 1-2 weeks, maintenance is performed every 6-9 months.
Super Hydro
After the second and subsequent treatments, a total of three treatments per month are performed, followed by maintenance about once every six months.
Q: Which JalPro is best for a neck treatment?
A:The recommended formulation depends on the reason (problem) you want to have treatment on your neck.
HMW and Super Hydro are effective for existing wrinkles, while Classic is effective for small wrinkles and for preventive purposes.
Q: Is there pain during injection? Can I have anesthesia?
A: AAlthough it varies from person to person, there may be some pain when the needle is inserted and when the drug is injected.
However, we have devised ways to minimize pain, such as using a thinner needle than usual for injections. We can also use anesthesia to reduce pain if you consult with us in advance.
Q: Can JalPro be done with water light injections?
A:JalPro Classic can be performed with water light injections.
