Water Light Injection is a skin-quality treatment in which a drug selected to match your concerns is injected directly into the dermis, a relatively shallow layer of the skin. Its ingredients include non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and poly-DL-lactic acid (PDLLA). After injection, they are slowly absorbed by the body over one to two years, during which they stimulate fibroblasts to naturally increase collagen and elastin, so a lasting effect can be expected.

Rejuran
Its ingredients include polydeoxynucleotide (PDRN) extracted from salmon DNA. Because it uses ingredients derived from salmon, it is sometimes called a "salmon injection."
Rejuran also contains an ingredient called astaxanthin, which has a strong antioxidant effect said to be roughly 1,000 times that of vitamin E.
Sunekos
Made in Italy and holding CE Mark Class IIIApproved as compliant with European safety standardsand, in Europe, it is an injectable that has been approved as a medical device.

Background to the Development of Water Light Injection (Mechanical Injection)
Water Light Injection is a machine that came into use in Japan around the 2010s.
The background to its development was" to solve the 'challenges' of manual injection performed by physicians "It seems the manufacturer that developed it had this objective.
So, let us introduce what the challenges of "manual physician injection" are.
*Please note that this is not a challenge that applies to all physicians, as there are differences in their technical skill.
1. Difficult to maintain consistency
You can imagine that with manual injection it is difficult to keep the injection depth and dosage constant. As a result, it has been said that quality could vary from one facial area to another and from one treatment to the next.
2. Highly dependent on skill / individual practitioner
As for point (1), conversely, it is not a problem if the physician's skill is high. On the other hand, not all physicians are highly skilled, so there was a situation where the outcome depended on the skill of the individual physician.
3. Time efficiency
Manual treatment can be time-consuming, which created the challenge of making it difficult to treat many clients.
4. Loss of accuracy due to fatigue
With manual injection, concentration is required for depth and dosage, so examining and treating a variety of clients in a single day could lead to a loss of accuracy due to fatigue.

Risks and Side Effects・Downtime
Risks, side effects, and downtime may mean roughly the same thing to you, so we will explain them together.
With Water Light Injection, the drug is injected using something like a stamp fitted with nine needles. As a result, reactions such as the following occur.
Redness, swelling (puffiness), and pain may occur at the injection site.
The above reactionsIn most cases it returns to normal within two to three days.
Here are two examples of the condition immediately after treatment. As you can see, even when the treatment is performed under the same conditions, individual differences arise depending on skin type and constitution.
Another point I always make sure to mention is the possibility of “bruising”. Since there are sometimes misunderstandings about this, I’d like to explain it carefully.
First, please take a look at the following.
Due to the nature of the treatment, bruising may—though not always—occur at the needle puncture site. If bruising does occur, it gradually fades over the course of one to two weeks.
As noted here, bruising occurs at a certain frequency (about 3–10%).
Bruising happens when the needle strikes a "blood vessel (a vein)" beneath the skin, causing a small tear so that blood leaks out and clots.
In other words, to prevent this, it would be enough "not to hit a blood vessel," but these blood vessels (veins) are very fine and run differently (are located differently) from person to person. For that reason, it cannot be prevented 100%.

Downtime
Redness and raised bumps may occur at the injection site, but in most cases they return to normal in about 24 hours.
Due to the nature of the treatment, subcutaneous bleeding may occur at the needle puncture site, though not always. If bruising occurs, it gradually fades over 10 to 14 days.

Example: Juvelook is a “powder” product
Unlike drugs such as Profhilo and Sunekos, Juvelook comes in a box as a "powder" rather than a liquid. (See the image below.)
Because it is a powder, the following points are essential.
- It must be mixed with saline solution to dissolve it (there is a proper reconstitution method specified by the Juvelook manufacturer).

- Is one session effective?

It is of course effective even with a single session. Depending on the drug, some are more effective when repeated in sets of three or four sessions.
- How is it different from ordinary hyaluronic acid injections?

Conventional hyaluronic acid injections created volume by "physically" placing hyaluronic acid beneath the skin. The non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid used in Water Light Injection penetrates almost like a lotion, stimulating the skin's fibroblasts and naturally producing collagen and so on, thereby creating volume.
- Can I wear makeup after the procedure?
