[1. Comprehensive Effects Through Basement Membrane Reinforcement]
By strengthening the basement membrane that separates the epidermis and dermis, it helps normalize skin turnover and promotes the elimination of melanin. This can be expected to improve pigmentation and produce a brightening effect.
The "basement membrane" on which Juvelook Shine acts is a thin membrane, just 0.1 micrometers thick, that anchors the surface of the skin (epidermis) to the deeper layer (dermis).
This membrane acts like a "filter to the deeper skin." When the basement membrane is damaged, cells may no longer be produced normally, and it can also lead to a reduction of collagen in the dermis.
Furthermore, when the basement membrane breaks, melanin drops into the dermis, where it is not eliminated by normal turnover and remains as stubborn dark spots and dullness.
The following study reports that a PDLLA formulation (the main ingredient in Juvelook Shine) reduces UV-induced pigmentation by regenerating the basement membrane.

Treatment Method
For Juvelook Shine, you can choose from three treatment methods: "Dermapen infusion," "Water Light Injection," and "manual injection by a physician."

Dermapen infusion
The Dermapen is an electric, auto-pen-type device with 16 ultra-fine needles at its tip. It creates microscopic channels on the skin's surface and, immediately afterward, applies the formulation so that it penetrates. This engages the skin's own wound-healing ability (the wound-healing mechanism), helping to improve texture, pores, and the unevenness of shallow acne scars.
Vital Injector
Water Light Injection is a treatment that directly injects the solution using a stamp-like device fitted with nine fine needles arranged in a row. Manual injection by a physician
This method involves the physician using an ultra-fine needle to inject carefully and precisely. Compared with the other methods, it takes more time and costs more, but it has the advantage of allowing detailed customization by area.
Which layer is it injected into?
Injectable formulations vary in both their ingredients and intended purposes.
Therefore, it is extremely important to administer each formulation at the appropriate “depth” and “volume” to ensure optimal results.
In the case of Juvelook Shine, the primary injection layer is the "superficial dermis."

Downtime, Side Effects, and Risks
Symptoms: redness at the needle-puncture sites, swelling, edema, bruising, and temporary raised areas
Duration: approximately 24 hours
Redness and raised areas (bumps in the skin) at the injection site usually return to normal within about 24 hours.
Especially in areas with thin skin, such as under the eyes, bruising may occur, but it gradually fades over 10 to 14 days. In most cases it can be covered with makeup.

- Lumps: reported as a rare risk with PDLLA formulations, but because the particles in Juvelook Shine are very fine, this risk is kept to a minimum.
- Allergy: although extremely rare, an allergic reaction to hyaluronic acid or PDLLA may occur. If you are prone to allergies, please consult us beforehand.
- Infection: if bacteria enter through the injection site, there is a risk of infection. We adhere strictly to sterile technique. Please avoid touching the puncture sites as much as possible after treatment.

How to Care for Yourself After Treatment

- Please refrain from washing your face and applying makeup.
- Keep bathing to a short shower, and avoid saunas and long baths.

The treatment area has countless tiny needle punctures. To help prevent infection, please avoid touching the treated area as much as possible on the day. From the following day onward as well, please be gentle with your skincare.
Activities that promote blood circulation can make redness and bruising more likely to appear.

- Thorough UV protection: UV rays break down collagen. Sunscreen is essential.

- A nutritionally balanced diet: be mindful to eat a good balance of protein, the building block of collagen, and vitamin C, which supports collagen production.
